HABAKKUK: SEEKING GOD WHEN HE's hard to understand

We've just concluded a sermon series on the book of Habakkuk entitled The Search: Seeking God when He’s Hard to Understand.  Have you ever wondered why God allows so much evil and cruelty?  If He wants us to be kind, why doesn’t He end cruelty and “Make Kindness Normal?"  Join us as we take a look at the book of Habakkuk.  Habakkuk wants to know why God is allowing evil and injustice.  A great question.

We exist to

for the glory of God and the joy of his people

And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he [Jesus] said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 22:35-40

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20
