Kevin Hollinger, Senior Pastor
Kevin Hollinger, Senior Pastor

Dr. Kevin Hollinger has been the Senior Pastor of Edgewood Baptist Church since February of 2015. Prior to that time, he pastored Grace Church in Algona, Iowa for 16 years. Kevin’s love for our Lord and Savior is evident in his preaching, counseling, writing, and everyday life. He is blessed to be married to his wonderful wife, Paige. Kevin and Paige have seven children: Josh, Noah, Ana, Dasha, Peter, Isaiah, and Silas. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves to play sports. Kevin has his B.A. from Bethel College, a Master in Divinity from Bethel Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary.

Billy Crompton, Interim Director of Missions and Outreach
Billy Crompton, Interim Director of Missions and Outreach

Billy has been a missionary in Thailand for 10 years doing soccer ministry with Ambassadors Football and is preparing to return to Asia where he will be involved in providing theological education for pastors.  He is grateful for the opportunity to use his gifting and passions to serve Edgewood during this furlough season.

His wonderful wife Annie grew up at Edgewood, an experience their two sons Liam and Wyatt will get to enjoy this year.  Billy enjoys wrestling around with his sons, fly fishing, playing soccer, and singing love songs to his wife.

Kaleb Willey, Pastor of Worship and Media
Kaleb Willey, Pastor of Worship and Media

Kaleb joined the Edgewood staff in July 2012. Prior to that, he grew up in Texas, but now considers it a privilege to reside in the Evergreen State. He's been married to my amazing wife, Tamara, since 2011.

His interests include making coffee, drinking coffee, and books about coffee. In his spare time, he collects records, reads, writes, studies and is a hobbyist photographer, filmmaker, and graphic designer.

Julio Jimenez, Pastor of Spanish Ministry
Julio Jimenez, Pastor of Spanish Ministry

Julio was born and raised in a humble Christian family in Peru, South America. At age 13, he received Jesus Christ as his personal savior. It was a wonderful experience that not only changed his life but also gave it a purpose.

At age 18, he left his family and moved to Trujillo, Peru where after 10 years, he finished Medical School. In 1994 in a miraculous way, he was able to come to the US and with God's help, finished his residency in Family Medicine at the Providence FMR program, here in Seattle in 2000.

Since 2000, he has been working as a Family Physician for Sea Mar CHC. He also trains family medicine residents and medical students of Swedish MC and the University of Washington as associate clinical professor of the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Since very early, Julio felt the call to serve my God and Savior in the ministry of preaching and teaching His Word. This has been the passion that has moved and guided his life.

In February of 2012, Julio joined EBC as the pastor for the Hispanic Ministry. Since then, he has seen our Lord working in many ways in the lives of many.

God has blessed Julio with Liana, who is not only a beloved wife but also my faithful fellow worker in the ministry. Their sons, Andree, Alex, and Carlos, are a tremendous help by using their talents and gifts to serve along with us in the ministry.

Shannon Bullock, Director of Children's Ministry
Shannon Bullock, Director of Children's Ministry

Born and raised in Edmonds WA, Shannon accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior as a child due to the influence of her loving parents and the Children’s Ministry of the church they attended. Years later she began attending Edgewood’s college group and ultimately served on their leadership team. She met her husband, Steve, as a result of that involvement and they have now been married since 1999. She has served in many areas of the church: Choir, Women’s Ministry, Decorations, Children’s Ministry and Vacation Bible School. As their family has grown (they have 3 children: Isaiah, Benjamin, and Evie) Shannon has felt led to spend more time in the Children’s Ministry. This culminated in her answering God’s call to direct the Children’s Ministry in 2011. Shannon loves children and wants to see them grow into Godly men and women.

Boston Johnson, Director of Student Ministry
Boston Johnson, Director of Student Ministry

Boston joined the Edgewood Staff in September of 2017. He has a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Christianity & Culture from Trinity Western University in Langely, BC in Canada. He grew up attending Edgewood and is excited to begin his new role here within the Student Ministries while finishing up his schooling (at TWU) with a Masters in Biblical Studies with a focus on Theology. His interests are reading, learning and spending time with people, and dialoging about Theology. Boston has a passion to walk alongside others as they seek after God and to see the Joy of His presence within the Church.

Khyra Olson, Ministry Assistant
Khyra Olson, Ministry Assistant

Khyra grew up as an only child in Richmond Beach. She became a Christian in high school. A week after graduating from WWU with a Child Dev/Educ major, she married her husband, Michael. They started attending Edgewood in 1986 and have been very involved ever since.  Khyra is in her 16th year working with Awana, and she co-directs the Women's Ministry.  She has enjoyed and grown from 12+ years in BSF.  Khyra is the mother of two grown children.  In her free time she likes to pull weeds in her garden (she knows that's crazy), watch a good tv series, snuggle with her Australian Shepherds or help her husband work on their property in Eastern Washington.

Cathy Fitch, Office Assistant
Cathy Fitch, Office Assistant

Cathy found Edgewood through the Yellow Pages in 1985 and has attended ever since (minus a 2 year relocation to Colorado).  She has a BA from the University of Washington and served as a secretarial substitute for Edgewood for several years before joining as a regular part-time staffer in 2010, editing the church newsletter and other duties as needed.  Throughout the years she’s served in leadership roles in Awana, VBS, a service class for 5th/6th graders, women’s bible studies, orchestra and other worship ministry projects.  She enjoys writing, reading and playing in the church orchestra.  She and husband, Jim, met at Edgewood and were married in 1987.  They have a daughter, Anna, in college and a fluffy white Bichon Cathy accidentally won at a school auction over 12 years ago.
